Job Summary
1.Accountable to develop and implement a sales strategy focused ondeveloping and securing incremental revenue and market share from existing customers and new business to achieve profitable volume growth consistent with sales plan initiatives; and improving business development processes.
2. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
3. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide overall leadership, direction and management of the business development efforts for Contract Logistics -
spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
2.Develop, identify and qualify new business development opportunitiesthrough various lead sources including sales team members andrelationship managers.
3.Work collaboratively with the senior sales staff to develop businessstrategies that are consistent with the national vertical market tomaximize margins and increase revenue growth.
4. Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.
5.Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leveragerelationships in order to better penetrate Contract Logistics market.
6.Leverage the company''s global reach to influence decisions on projectsfor customer deliveries in both domestic and international locations
7. Partner with the business units/functions, sales, operations and management to develop implementation project plans.
8. Provide marketing support and knowledge within the company for all products and services.
9. Perform other duties as required.
